Meet Eleuthera, a timid, book-loving woodland fairy who has her own secret place to read where no one will disturb her.
Until, one day, she’s startled by a beautiful white cat jumping on to her lap which won’t be shooed away. Moments later, someone else stumbles into her private grove: Altaria, a fairy studying at the magical school in the far-away fairy capital. Altaria and her familiar Tangar were accidentally transported to Eleuthera’s forest when Altaria read out a spell from a book in the school’s magical library that she shouldn’t have been reading.
Now Altaria needs Eleuthera’s help to get home. Eleuthera is reluctant, but tempted by Altaria’s descriptions of the school’s library, she must overcome her fears and leave the woods that are all she’s known to help her new friend.
